“-ita” – smallness, petite, tiny

And health and wellbeing is my passion. I take my inspiration from everywhere and anywhere to bring creative ideas to life and add something a little extra-special to my classes. A self-confessed yogi, foodie, psychology nerd, travel addict and a devotee of beautiful photography and design, my most recent source of inspiration is my two-year old girl Ella who has been my greatest teacher to date.

I first discovered yoga when living in sunny Sydney, Australia where I practised outdoors on the beautiful sandy beaches.  Since moving back to Dublin I qualified as a yoga teacher (and still practise outdoors when the Irish weather allows!), teaching a dynamic vinyasa style class focused on breathing and alignment.  Previously working as a psychologist for 10 years I draw on this experience to create yoga sessions that are thoughtful and mindful as well as energetic and flowing. I see every class is an opportunity to hit the “restart” button and am dedicated to giving my students the opportunity to slow down and balance the body and mind.

Since the birth of my little girl I’m passionate about yoga as a tool for empowering women and their bodies both during and after their pregnancies.  I am qualified in pre and post-natal/ mum and baby yoga as well as kids and teens yoga and teach regularly in schools across Dublin.

I have 2 degrees … a BA from UCD and a BSc in Psychology from Trinity College Dublin

I completed a post-grad in Applied Mental Health (specialising in children & adolescents) from TCD and counselling skills from NUI Maynooth (I spent a long time in college!)

I spent my early professional career working as a psychologist in Lucena Child & Adolescent Mental Health services, specialising in managing anxiety in young people.

I was part of a pioneering team delivering a mental health promotion & prevention initiative in schools across New South Wales, Australia.

I am professionally registered and insured with the Yoga Alliance UK and am a certified Rainbow Kids Yoga Teacher, Prenatal and Mum & Baby Yoga teacher.
