Starting public yoga classes in my own studio space wasn't part of my immediate plan when I first qualified as a teacher, I was happy enough running private sessions and covering in studios across Dublin. However it's funny how the universe works and offers up an opportunity when you least expect it - for me it was when I was on a morning run around Herbert Park! I spotted a lovely little wooden building with lots of glass windows and light, newly renovated and seemingly completely empty. With visions of it being the perfect yoga studio, curiosity and nosiness got the better of me.
Several phonecalls, voice-messages and annoying most of Dublin City Council I eventually found out it was available for use. I'm thrilled to have it as a space for teaching yoga and sharing it with others. My perfect scenario is to teach yoga outdoors, but unfortunately the Irish weather doesn't always agree with this and so for a city location you can't get much closer to nature than being in the park (and safely under cover!) I hope to see lots of eager yogis and newbies when I start the week of the 14th September. If you want any more more information about the classes don't hesitate to get in touch with me! Susie x
