I first discovered yoga during a busy and stressful time while working in Australia.  Working long hours and travelling across the country every other week I needed something to calm my body and mind.  Yoga was the perfect answer, I became much more relaxed, was full of energy and could bring my mat with me wherever I went!  I was usually the one trying to skip gym class at school and wasn't considered particularly sporty growing up but now yoga is a part of my daily life and I love passing the joy it brings to me on to others.  After years of self-practise I completed the 200 hour yoga instructor training under the mentorship of Sylvia Ferguson and am now a certified and registered teacher with the Yoga Alliance.  I am also a qualified children's yoga teacher through Rainbow Kids Yoga.  Always looking to improve my own learning, I regularly attend workshops and have trained with Katherine Budig, Patrick Beach and Jason Crandell to name a few, practising yoga from Dublin to London and Sydney to Sri Lanka! 

My classes combine dynamic flow sequences designed to challenge the body, while focusing on breathing, alignment and meditation.  I like to bring my creativity to each class and will make you both sweat and laugh!  I draw on my psychology background and experience of working in mental health settings to create sessions that are mindful as well as energetic, balancing both body and mind.  Corporate, schools, indoor, outdoor, young or old I am passionate about teaching everyone in any location … my dream is to one day bring the outdoor kayak yoga classes I practised in Sydney to Ireland (I just need the weather first!) Since the birth of my daughter Ella in 2016 I have become passionate about yoga as a tool for empowering women and their bodies both during and after their pregnancies and am fully qualified in pre and post-natal/ mum and baby yoga.

I am also available for private yoga classes and can travel to you with all the equipment you need or you can come to my beautiful private studio.  I use the same creative and dynamic approach, but with more of an individual focus on customising each class to meet your specific needs.  Please get in touch if you would like to find out a bit more about private sessions or my class schedule.
